Making light work at Westward Ho! Potwalloping

Potwalloping Feature in the North Devon Gazette

Text from the North Devon Gazette: VISITORS to the Westward Ho! Potwalloping Festival next Saturday (May 29) will be treated to a free Painting with Light Workshop, led by Bideford Bay Creatives.

A torch or coloured light is all that is required to take part in the workshop, which starts at 9.30pm. Organisers are hoping for many people of all ages and abilities to join them, so that a large moving light sculpture can be photographed at around 10.15pm.

The results will be available as a free download after the festival from www.bbcdevon.org.

On Sunday the Bideford Bay Creatives will be offering free arts workshops and demonstrations in the Kingsley Hall from 11am until 2pm.

A photographic artist who has built up a unique vision of the world through his digitally constructed images. None of his photographs are simply photographs; most of them are made from up to 100 separate images layered, like strata, on top of each other to build up an impression of what it is like to be in a place, giving the viewer far more than a visual experience.
