Arriving in North Devon, intending to stay for just a few weeks, I quickly fell under the spell of Bideford Bay. Even in winter months there is great beauty in the growling skies, rugged beaches and the myriad-coloured sea. As someone interested in drawing and photography the area was a place where I felt at home and soon I decided to stay put.

As an art student of the late sixties, I realised that graphic design was where I wanted to go. Now after over 30 years of working in the “creative industries” and having owned successful design companies I have returned to my roots and am exploring all the nooks and crannies of my once-dormant soul.
Thus I am trying out every bloody thing that comes to mind, so I draw, take photographs, make driftwood “doo-dahs’, garden sculptures, hell I’ve even started painting. I love writing too. So make of that what you will, I’m happy to be considered a Jack-of-all-trades, master of none.
I don’t offer services (whatever they might be) nor do commissions (not that anyone has asked me) preferring to work for myself, by myself, with only myself to blame!
