BBC Banners Welcome visitors to Bideford

5 BBC artists, Karen Hawkins, Janis Glover, Rosie Burns and Gillie Jackson celebrate under Rachel Sumners Banner Design. All have their Banner Designs printed and hung from Heywood Roundabout to outside The Burton Art Gallery.

The project has been a collaboration between Bideford Bay Creatives, North Devon Plus and Bideford Town Council with The Public voting on their favourite designs.

A photographic artist who has built up a unique vision of the world through his digitally constructed images. None of his photographs are simply photographs; most of them are made from up to 100 separate images layered, like strata, on top of each other to build up an impression of what it is like to be in a place, giving the viewer far more than a visual experience.
