Postcard Exchange on tour

The Bideford / Manteo Postcard Exchange has been touring North Devon’s summer festivals. On the weekend of 16th July it was in Instow for the Community on Show Festival and yesterday, 24th July it was on Bideford Quay in the Cultural Village to celebrate the opening day of the Atlantic Watersports Festival. There was a lot of interest in the Exchange, in Manteo and in Bideford Bay Creatives with many people supporting us by entering our raffle, signing their support for an arts hub and taking membership forms with the intent of joining our group.

There has been tremendous support for the Postcard Exchange – will it happen again? Watch this space….

A photographic artist who has built up a unique vision of the world through his digitally constructed images. None of his photographs are simply photographs; most of them are made from up to 100 separate images layered, like strata, on top of each other to build up an impression of what it is like to be in a place, giving the viewer far more than a visual experience.
