Kingsley Hall at Potwalloping

the Creatives demonstrate, educate and entertain

Westward Ho!’s Kingsley Hall buzzed with the creative energy of BBCer’s on the Sunday of the Potwalloping Festival. There were demonstrations of art and craft techniques, workshops for children enabling them to make and decorate fish, free photographic portraits on the stage, paintings and jewellery being made, music making, singing and dancing, a display of members artwork and a slideshow of past events including the results from the previous nights ‘Painting with Light’.

A photographic artist who has built up a unique vision of the world through his digitally constructed images. None of his photographs are simply photographs; most of them are made from up to 100 separate images layered, like strata, on top of each other to build up an impression of what it is like to be in a place, giving the viewer far more than a visual experience.
