Potwalloping’s Light Show

A really good creative time was had by BBC members and Potwalloping punters at the Westward Ho! festival on Saturday night. Approximately 40 people took park in a wonderful moving light sculpture. We were restricted to using the ramp down to the beach as the spring tide was still covering the beach at the 9.30pm start; but this meant we had to be a tightly knit group which made for a brilliant intensity of light and colour.

Thanks to all of those who took part please click on any images you like for a larger version to download. If you’d like a better quality picture for printing out email info@bbcdevon.org and ask. Thanks also for the support of our local press, the North Devon Gazette and North Devon Journal and to the Potwalloping Festival committee.

A photographic artist who has built up a unique vision of the world through his digitally constructed images. None of his photographs are simply photographs; most of them are made from up to 100 separate images layered, like strata, on top of each other to build up an impression of what it is like to be in a place, giving the viewer far more than a visual experience.
